Experience
I am a graduate of Harvard University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Neurobiology and Spanish. Next, I plan to attend medical school. I am a certified EMT and am part of Harvard's Emergency Medical System. I have also spent time working in Africa and South America working to improve the health of underserved communities. I am passionate about medicine, and I enjoy tutoring students of all ages in related courses, including calculus, anatomy, biology, chemistry, microbiology, physical chemistry, and many other science and math topics. I am also able to assist students with Spanish, English, geography, social studies, history, and standardized test preparation for the ACT, MCAT, and SAT. I have spent time serving as a professor, and am capable of tutoring all ages of students, from elementary schoolers to adult learners. I am most comfortable tutoring math and science subjects, and I especially enjoy tutoring these subjects to students who are preparing to take the ACT. As my college studies have been math- and science-focused, I am extremely confident in my ability to assist students who struggle with these subjects. When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy playing soccer and basketball, hiking, reading, and I also love a good game of ping-pong.
